Who/What inspires your practice?
“My inspiration comes from life, its cycles, birth and death. My inspiration comes from nature, love and the systems that we create as humans.”

Why?
“It inspires me because it shares with me the rhythms of the universe.”

How would you describe your practice?
“My practice is an exploration of myself and a sharing of what I am witnessing. It is an exploration of material and collaboration.

How do you sustain your discipline?
“I sustain my practice by challenging how I create, by learning to work with different material. Also by collaboration with differing artists making art using different practices.”

Funny/ironic/wild story of a time in your studio?
The most iconic story I have in my studio is when my dad came to visit me in LA and I told him about my projects. At the time, I made a weighted blanket which I had in an installation called XBunny's office where folks could unpack white guilt and racism. He laughed so hard as he drapped the guilt quilt around him and said finally something to help me deal with the weight of these crackers.
